Our Mision

To catalyse the process by which Achievers, Challengers and Communities use their own Strength and efforts to improve the Quality of their lives and Skills. To evolve new social Paradigms within which Comprehensive plans could create better and model lives of the communities with which they work.

To enable Social Development rooted in justice and equity through people’s Organisations Devoted to Social Mobilisation, Conscientization, economic and Political empowerment.

To Ensure the Participation of Achievers and Challengers Frequently, under represented in Development. To Strengthen the Expression of Achievements through Culture and Traditional Values.

There was a time when facilities were divided among people on the basis of colour. In many countries discrimination of race and caste, violence, untouchability, slavery etc., was found on a large scale. Leaders like Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi fought and won against these odds.

The struggles faced by them were for the people of the nation, for their future, for their peace, for their good , for their liberty. Nelson Mandela was one such leader who fought for the rights of his people. It was not easy. Nelson Mandela had to spend 27 years in prison. Since good always triumphs over evil, the struggles faced by Mandela put an end to the rules of the discrimination.

Nelson Mandela Peace University is thus to be named after such a staunch man so that he would inspire the present generation to strive for the society. Irrespective of colour, caste, religion, language etc., people should be treated as fellow human beings with equality, peace and justice. Thus, Nelson Mandela Peace University initiated by Dr.Johnson paves way to inspire people in becoming a good democrat who would help and fight for the people of the society.

There are many inspired people like Mandela all around the globe, who strive for the well being of the society and its people. Nelson Mandela Peace University hopes to recognise, appreciate, motivate and introduce them to the world of their great work.

NMPU-Gandhi

Nelson Mandela, was a man who followed Gandhi’s path, considered Gandhi as his inspiration. Mahatma Gandhi was a person who gave his whole heart to the nation. Gandhi loved the people and no doubt people refer to him as father of the nation. His empathy for the poor, oppressed and lower caste people is absolutely unparalleled. This great man continues to command respect not only in India but all over the world.

Dr. Ambedkar, was a crusader who strived and struggled for the liberation of those who were socially backward from illiteracy, ignorance and superstition. Ambedkar’s life was marked by many struggles but he proved that every hurdle can be surmounted with talent and firm determination. His hard work in the drafting of constitution and making it a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment of downtrodden are praiseworthy. If it was not for Ambedkar, there would not be any law or constitution for the people of India.

It is indeed rare for someone to create a great impact on a nation. One such personality is Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa came to Calcutta, helped people in need. She spent her days caring for the elderly, disabled, injured and others in need. she set up a missionary of charity and served the needle till her last breath. Mother Teresa was a lady of great caliber who spent her whole life serving the poor and needy.

Peace, brotherhood and equality should prevail in the society. Nelson Mandela Peace University emphasis on this main principle. Nelson Mandela Peace University offers great learning experience to help this generation in getting their doctorate.

Our Journey

In 2018, When a Group of Seven Leaders decided to Intervene to improve the Nelson Mandela Peace University which comes under the Umbrella of ICI Diocese – A Non Profit Organisation, Striving to help and recognised those who have dedicated their life towards exploring various fields like education health training and leadership, which is resulting in educational and Holistic initiatives. In Appreciation of their Selfless and Voluntary work, our NMPU’S awards and Honour them with Honorary Doctorate in their respective field of excellence partnership with Dayspring Theological University USA and Success Life Ministries INTI’L Nigeria .

In our Great Efforts, We bring on the dias some esteemed Ministers Officials to Grace the occasion by delivering letter of Appreciation, Awards, Trophies and honorary doctorate which boost morale and inspire to continue the good works with exemplary role model.

Journey of Founder President

Rev. Dr. K. Johnson

Bishop Rev. K. Johnson ICI Diocese and Nelson Mandela Peace University, worked in Nagpur, India. He started his career as a social worker in 1997 towards upliftment of Gipsy children, young women and elderly people. He is passionate in serving the poor and needy. Dr. K. Johnson was an efficient NGO leader from 1999 to 2004 and helped in establishing home for Gipsy children and helped for their education and development. Dr. K. Johnson ‘s untiring efforts and hard work had been instrumental in the development initiatives of downtrodden, unreached and below poverty line people.

Presently, he is serving specially challenged children for their treatment and equipment cost and in supporting their educational needs. Moreover, educational support is also given to school going children in Tamilnadu, Telangana and Andra Pradesh states. Dr. K. Johnson has widely travelled to various countires like USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy and Singapore for social work in Ministry assignments.

Now he has started Nelson Mandela Peace University inspired by the achievers of the nation. He is paving a way for the younger generation to become achievers and citizens of excellence. His journey is continuing…
